The Artist

Jedidiah
Olawunmi

Known on stage as JedSax, Jedidiah is a young British saxophonist whose playing carries the conviction of the church and the elegance of a late-night jazz room.

He performs at weddings, gospel and worship events, corporate evenings and studio sessions across the United Kingdom. Every engagement is treated as a performance, not a booking: the set is shaped for the room, the guests and the moment, and rehearsed well before the day.

Off stage he teaches through his own music school. That commitment is why Uncle Tobireviews each request personally, protecting both the school and the quality of every performance.

The beginning

Church, then everywhere

Jedidiah grew up inside the music of the church: the Sunday morning band, the long worship nights, the discipline of playing for a congregation rather than a crowd. That grounding still shapes every phrase he plays.

The sound

Gospel roots, jazz instinct

His voice on the horn sits between the warmth of classic soul and the freedom of contemporary jazz — melodic enough to carry a room, adventurous enough to make musicians lean in.

The next chapter

Building a body of work

Alongside a growing live calendar, Jedidiah is writing and recording original material, and teaching the next generation through his own music school — the reason every booking is scheduled with such care.

“A saxophone can fill a room without saying a word. My job is to make sure the room remembers what it felt like.”
